For Your Home
Bereavement & Probate Clearance
Handled gently, at your pace

Clearing a home after someone has died is one of the hardest jobs a family faces, and it usually arrives at the worst possible time. Our crews have done this many times. We work quietly, carefully and without judgement — setting aside anything personal or sentimental for the family, taking direction from you, and getting the property ready for whatever comes next.
- Full or part clearances, at whatever pace suits the family
- Personal papers, photographs and keepsakes set aside for you
- Discreet crews, unmarked handling of sensitive items
- Donations to local charities wherever possible
- Work directly with executors, solicitors and estate agents
- Property left clean, swept and ready for sale or handover
You set the pace
Some families want the house cleared in a single day. Others need to go room by room over a few weeks. Both are fine. We'll agree a plan with you first and we won't move anything you haven't asked us to move.
Looking out for what matters
Documents, jewellery, photographs, letters and small personal items turn up in the strangest places — inside books, at the back of drawers, taped under furniture. Our teams look for them as they go and set anything of that kind aside for you rather than assuming it's rubbish.
Working with executors and solicitors
We regularly act for executors and law firms handling estates, providing clear quotes, invoices and completion photographs suitable for estate records. Where a property must be emptied by a fixed date for sale or lease surrender, tell us the date and we'll work to it.
Donations and reuse
Furniture, clothing, books and household goods in good condition go to local charities. Families often find that easier than seeing everything go in a truck, and it keeps a lot of usable material out of landfill.

Frequently asked questions
- Do we need to be at the property?
- Not if you'd rather not be. Many families give us access and a brief, and we send photographs as we go. Whatever is easier for you.
- What happens to items of value?
- We set anything that looks valuable or personal aside for you to look at. We don't dispose of anything of that kind on our own judgement.
- Can you work to a solicitor's deadline?
- Yes. We handle probate and estate clearances to fixed handover dates regularly — just tell us the deadline when you call.
- Do you clear hoarded properties?
- Yes, including properties in very difficult condition. Our teams are equipped for it and won't make you feel judged about it.
